fuck shit up.

My life is changing left and right.

So I haven’t had much time to hop on tumblr, but I managed to squeeze some time in because I’ve felt like writing about my life. Well, one; me and my girlfriend are doing great. We’re on 6 months right now, and couldn’t be better. I mean, we have our occasional fights but at the end of the day, I love her with all my heart. Secondly, I just recently got a job. It’s during the day at school and it’s okay pay at first. I’m training for now, but officially start on Monday.

I’ve decided that I want to join the Marines. One day, these recruiters for my school came into my history class (because the teacher asks them to every year) and talk to us about different opportunities. They talked about a scholarship called NROTC which is what I want to pursue. Basically, they pay for all 4 years of my college in full (excluding food & leisure) and for half of each summer, I do some training. After I graduate, I go straight to boot camp and start my career as a Marine. I’m really happy about this decision and I’m excited for the whole experience.

It’s a really great opportunity. But, there is always bad news to all of the good. I have Exercise Induced Asthma. It’s when I work I, I have asthma like symptoms. Only when I work out. I’ve had this for a while but I thought it was because I had used to smoke. But I had bronchitis and couple years ago (and I live in a house of smokers) and I’ve had this ever since I got over the bronchitis. I’m suppose to go to the doctor tomorrow to hopefully get an inhaler so I can work out and get my lungs in good enough shape to run 3-4 miles nonstop without it. Let’s hope I can do it in a year because if I don’t, then bye-bye my dreams of being a Marine.
